    This is the RogueMechanic Shim Kit made to solve the problem of axial movement in Campagnolo Ultra-Torque Press Fit bottom bracket systems.  This movement sometimes manifests into noise in the form of clicking and/or knocking.  This side-to-side movement also accelerates the wear of components.  This shim kit is machined here in the Cleveland area from high-quality, US-made high-quality PTFE with the help of my father-in-law.  The shim kit has a total of eight shims (four different thicknesses) so that you can precisely dial in the correct stack height.

    These shims are designed to be installed internally, on the NDS semi-axle, either between the bearing and the wave washer or next to the bearing without the wave washer.

    This set is only compatible with PRESS FIT cups such as BB30, BB30 A, BB86, PF30, BB386, BB Right, etc.  as well as internally with T47 Ultra-Torque bottom brackets. 

    This shim kit contains:

    (2) .75mm (0.03")

    (2) .50mm (0.02")

    (2) .25mm (0.01")

    (2) .13mm (0.005")

    ULTRA-TORQUE-PRESSFIT FIXED:)

    My frame's bottom bracket (BB86) was faced a little too much for the wave washer to compensate. Initially I used two wave washers to fill the gap. The first ride after installation with the two wave washers would be quiet until 100km, then a loud clunk-clunk would develop.
    I found it very simple to find the correct amount of shims to use.
    Started off with two .75mm shims, that seemed perfect but played around with a few more combinations until settling back on the two .75mm shims, around 45min of faffing about.
    Now after 2,500km's of use the BB has remained completely silent and spins freely with no play.
    I just took apart and inspected, the shims show no signs of wear.
    100% satisfied and thank you for making these available.
    Please consider making a 1.5mm shim available.

    Skipped the wave washer

    First time building with Campy and in researching the UT assembly (and discovering the odd wave washer design), came across this product. Just a little trial-and-error and I got a perfect fit, and it rides beautifully. Smart, easy-to-use packaging too!
