I received the ratchets and spring in a timely manner and installed them in time for a weekend race. I was going to get a new wheel and decided to give this kit a shot. I am glad I did! The hub now engages and freewheels like a new wheel. Saved me a considerable amount of money versus the cost of a new wheelset. The process was fairly easy and I highly recommend if your wheels are still in good shape and just need a freshening up.

The products arrived really fast, and everything fit to perfection. My client is happy with his old wheelset.

First and foremost, I took the opportunity to spend the money to have a consultation call to make sure I was on the right track. John did his absolute best to help me trouble shoot my challenges and mitigate the potential cost issues.
We agreed that the only course of action was to buy the repair kit, and things are back to normal.
The kit by Mavic has all the necessary items and I am back on the road with the wheelset. Proper gear hook up again and the sound is correct.
worth the money and will buy a few more kits as spares.

Very easy to install. Literally takes minutes. Only downside was that I wanted something to make the hub louder. Unfortunately this wasn’t the case. If anyone has a suggestion it would be appreciated.
