This is the Mavic freehub body that is needed for Mavic road wheels for Shimano and SRAM Road 9, 10, and 11 speed cassettes. This freehub body also fits the following MTB wheels: Crosstrail and Crossride....Not to be too confusing! Mavic Part# M40592 UPDATED FOR 2013: Mavic "updated" the M40592 to part #: 308 711 01. This FHB includes a spacer to be used with 9mm axles and a shouldered spacer/reducer for use with 8mm axles.
