Mavic spoke replacement
I am living in Germany and use 3 bikes, one for each purpose (Road, MTB, folding bike for travelling). i am 60 years old, with this age you dont need every 2 years a new bike. In the end, I was only missing a spoke for the rim of my Stumpi. the rim is 10 years old and looks like new. unfortunately, the French manufacturer (Mavic) has gone through several bankruptcies, which has a very negative impact on the spare parts situation. the spoke seems to be sold out all over Europe and is no longer being produced. But there is still John from RogueMechanic. He was able to help! I really appreciate that, after all, for most people, cycling is a hobby that is close to nature. Third time I’ve used Rogue Mechanic for parts for my Mavic rims. Mostly 12 and 15 mm front axle end caps. Recently updated to a Shimano DI2 XT/GRX - 1X12 and needed a “micro spine free hub” for it. I also needed a different axle end to fit on the free end of the free hub, but they helped me out with both parts one of the few places I’ve found to get knowledge and parts for Mavic wheels & hubs on this side of the pond. John helped out with any and all of my questions and needs with my order to make it work on my now 12 speed rear wheel wit a new HG 10-52T XT cassette.
